Proud Dad Diaries

Welcome to my world of pictures, stories and life as a new dad stumbling through fatherhood one step at a time.

As of Sunday January 8, 2006 Lacy is attempting to eat "real" food, if that is what you can call rice cereal. It's really more like a rice mush, imagine if you will, very, very, very fine grits or oatmeal. That's is basically it. And I say attempting because most of it is landing on Katie or all over Lacy's face. I took a few pictures of it that I will get up soon hopefully. I also broke out the video recorder and have it on tape. If I was smart I would convert that to an mpeg file and post it as well, so that everyone could enjoy. But, alas, I am not that smart. So hopefully I have some still shots up soon.

In other news I am beginning to think that it might not have been the brightest thing to sign up to take the Bar Exam while i'm still in school. I have about 25 pounds of books to study plus somewhere around 20 hours of lectures each weekend until February 22. Couple that with my work, working for the D.A.'s office, night classes, and a newborn baby and believe it or not I'm modestly swamped. In talking with others who are about to take the bar, they have all cleared their calenders until February 22 and do nothing but study. Aut viam inveniam aut faciam
