Proud Dad Diaries: 2005-10-23

Welcome to my world of pictures, stories and life as a new dad stumbling through fatherhood one step at a time.

The four of us again ventured down to Starkville to watch the Bulldogs play. Unfortunately the results were the same as before. We lost. Lacy and I sported the Snugli together (basically a baby bjorn) and went into the game for the 4th quarter. The weather was nice and the seat comfy so we enjoyed all of it except for the pitiful play of the bulldogs.

The weekend and I'm really surprised Katie and I aren't a little more tired than we are considering Lacy was up pretty much all weekend. I mean really up. She probably only slept about 5-8 hours total each day. And most of that time came in 30 minute to 1 hour spurts. But overall she was great and really seemed to enjoy seeing everyone. We had my parents and sister come and have fun with us, as well as Uncle Matt and Uncle Ryan S, Cousin Cole, Shawn, Mandy and Caroline, Alyson, Cory, Tyler, & Hayden. As well as others. So we really had a good weekend.

This week I'm testing out a new hypothesis, it seems that as Lacy has fewer and further between BM's her sleep is also lessened. I'm hoping this isn't true, but boy has she been funny lately with her little gas issues. More gas, less poops and less sleep. Not an especially good combination but it does make diaper changes easier at least.
